After you submit an initial inquiry through the Contact page form, I will respond by email.
You may then use the form to submit three pages from the middle of your manuscript, I will
provide a complimentary sample edit to determine the level of editing your project needs.
However, once an evaluation is made, the decision of which type of editing you want is up
to you.

No. Getting published is about producing the right project for the right market—at the right time.
An editor helps you present your project in the best light, which may open doors, but there are no
guarantees.
As a freelance writer of twenty-five years, I edit various types of manuscripts including:
Juvenile fiction
Adult nonfiction
Devotions
Articles
Newsletters
Short stories
Press releases
Business material
Manuscripts should be double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman, with 1-inch margins
all around. Submit pages in MS Word format. After sending an initial inquiry to me and
receiving a response, then return to the Contact Page. There you can fill out the form, then
attach the manuscript pages to your inquiry. Click Add File at the bottom of the form on the
Contact Page.
Pricing depends upon the level of service required. Contact me using the Contact
Page regarding prices for (A) copyediting and (B) proofreading. Currently, I'm not accepting
developmental editing. For book manuscripts, I charge by the page (a 250-word, double-spaced
page). For shorter projects, I charge by the hour.
For most projects, I request half of the fee be paid up-front. The balance is then
due at the end of the project. At times, the fees are divided and paid in thirds. I am
flexible and willing to work with clients.
It depends upon the level of editing required and the length of your project. I try
to finish projects within a reasonable amount of time.
